OK, so before I published this website, I assumed you already know that there is WAY too much carbon dioxide (monoxide) in the air, with c/dioxide being CO2 and c/monoxide being CO. However, there are ways to fix it, one of the easier ones being planting!
Well, it may sound difficult at first, but once you get the hang of it, it will soon become an addictive hobby, trust me! You can start with simple plants like onions, basil, tomato and chilli. After that, you can move on to some of the hardier plants, like lime trees and so on. Or, you can purchase adult plants from your local nursery! Sooner than later, you'll find yourself having a full-blown edible garden with lots of harvests!
Here's a video on 5 easy vegetables that you can grow.
Now you may be wondering how is this going to help the earth with the CO2/CO problem that I mentioned earlier. Well, this may come as a surprise to you! Plants breathe in carbon dioxide and BREATHE OUT OXYGEN while we inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. Since the plants breathe in carbon dioxide and BREATHE OUT OXYGEN for 16 hours a day and inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide for 8 hours in the night, planting plants gives the earth and your area 8 hours-worth of fresh oxygen every day! Isn't that great? Furthermore, you can get a harvest from certain plants as well!
Planting your own food also makes you feel that the fruits in the supermarket are not worthy of the "high" prices. It will be fresher and taste better.
BONUS TIP: Do you know aspirin? It is medication. Now, let me tell you a secret formula:
Take some aspirin pills and mix them with water. Then, put the mixture into a blender. Pour the liquid formed into the plants. This will not only increase the plant size, but it also gives resistance to diseases and pests which are otherwise out to get your plant!
