Christmas is coming!

Updated: Dec 27, 2020

'Tis the season for gifts! Christmas is just around the corner, and as you know, Christmas tradition is to give and exchange gifts with one another! However, because of the COVID-19 situation, we cannot go out to exchange presents with our friends in large groups. However, you can give gifts to your family members staying with you!

As this is an eco-blog, today I will be sharing some eco-friendly gifts that your family members will greatly appreciate!

Number 1: (requires: a piece of recycled paper, folding skills)

Do you have a paper which is used on 1 side but unused on the other? Well, if you need handmade Christmas gifts, don't recycle it just yet! Cut the paper into 4 rectangles, about the size of a dollar note. Then, follow the tutorial in the video to make a Christmas tree!

note: replace the money with recycled paper and make sure the used side is facing backwards. Colour the front side of the tree with a green marker.

Number 2: (requires: recycled paper cut to proportions, metal balls- optional, string- optional, folding skills)

Jingle bells really have the festive spirit; why not make one out of recycled paper?

note: the used side of the paper must be the inside of the bell, and if you do not have any metal balls you can replace that with a strip of paper. Colour the papers according to the colours you want.

Number 3: (requires: recycled glass jar with a tight-fitting lid, something to put inside the snow globe, hot glue/super glue, water, glycerin, glitter, decorative materials- optional)

This is the hardest one of them all, but I am sure that your family will greatly appreciate your efforts to make this snow globe.

note: you can put a picture inside the globe too!

Before I end this blog, I want to wish everyone a very Merry, Happy and Blessed Christmas! 😊😁😀 If you have any more ideas on eco-friendly Christmas gifts, feel free to share them in the site's forum! Thank you and have a nice day!

Till next time, friends! Bye!
